CHARLIE KIRK: A HERO OR A VICTIM?!

Whether we agree with the man or not, with his ideas, his views, the way he articulated his opinions, his public stance and stark voice, we must admit that he effectively believed in the freedom of speech – in public debates, discussions, public criticism, and the refusal to shrink from the political correctness that the US Republic so much propagates around the world. Indeed, the man stood for something; he was a Christian, and we must recognize this fact, especially in this choking conformist culture of the West.

However, I think Charlie Kirk was confused; perhaps he didn’t know exactly what America is and what the US Republic represents. More than his apparent Christianity, he was a fan of America, behaving as a staunch patriot, which is exactly why I am inclined to believe that he was naïve.

In addition, this young man, seemingly full of energy and aspiration to promote traditional and natural values, made the fatal mistake by making a deal with the Devil, i.e., the political elite. The Secularist politics has no morality. Secularists can never be trusted. They are liars, backstabbers, traitors, and hypocrites. Charlie Kirk embarked on the wrong boat, the boat of politicians and liars and backstabbers, which should be the last boat a social activist ever to board.

He stood for America, but he was killed by America. As it is the case for soldiers and mercenaries, they fight and die for masters that they never get to know. He didn’t know the American Republic – the first communist republic of the world.

Besides, his views on Islam and the Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) were disturbing and not befitting someone who claims to be an activist, an independent thinker, and a man of principles, in this case, of Christian values. That was the grave mistake which shows once more that the man was the victim of his ignorance and superficial fame.

Nevertheless, we respect everyone who is a proponent of free speech and public discourse. We – the people – do not have unlimited resources, nor do we have armies or weapons to defend ourselves from the tyranny of the modern governments, but we have the ability to write, share ideas with the public, and communicate with other fellow humans. We cannot afford to give up the most important right: to speak, think, and communicate publicly. That’s the very essence of our human society. Indeed, the tyrants, including the US Government, are the biggest enemies of free speech and intellectual activism, but this is precisely the reason why we must stand for the truth and seek aid and guidance from God against tyrants and evil despots of the Global Secularism.
